CECCATO S.p.A. was founded in 1930 in Milan Italy and is a leading producer of spinnerets for the synthetic fiber industry, which are marketed worldwide.

Since its foundation 77 years ago, Ceccato has undergone continuous changes. First Ceccato made spinnerets for Viscose fibers only, and after Polyester and Nylon were invented also started making stainless steel spinnerets for the melt spun processes.

In 1960 Ceccato started making spinnerets for Acrylic fibers and in 1984 started the production of Spunbond spinnerets, Meltblown dies and Hydroentanglement jets for Nonwovens.

Ceccato was the first company in Europe that produced Hydroentanglement jets for the spunlace industry.

In 2005 the new Management decided to build a state of the art factory in Concorezzo Milano just next to Monza and in November 2006 we moved into the new premises.

At the same time new investments were made, i.e. new machinery was acquired and we are proud to say thah Ceccato S.p.A. can present itself as a very modern company with modern facilities.
