DGS has been a software house involved in the development of textile-oriented software products. DGS concentrated development and sales efforts on textile printing and acquired a customer base including famous engravers, vertical companies, printing mills and design studios all over the world. In 1998,DGS started to get involved also in the digital textile printing business in order to offer to its clientele a global and future oriented solution for textile printing. Due to its know how and expertise and a straight cooperation with customers DGS succeeded in adapting an existing digital printer (piezo-electric printing technology) to the special needs and requirements of textile printing. tODAY,DGS has come out with alternative digital printers and a new software generation to control large format textile printers optimizing thereby color accuracy, fidelity and consistency due to the adoption of a more sophisticated linearization and calibration technique.
