LEMA LEZZENI S.r.l. is producing TEXTILE MACHINES since more than 50 years.
The geographical location in Como, north Italy, the silk centre of Europe,
was the reason to start with ring-twisters and winders for the silk-industry into the
textile machine business.
These machines entered also the new market for Nylon and Polyester-filament yarns.
In the late sixtieth, LEZZENI invented the combined twisting system - TBR - for the
filament sewing- and embroidery thread market. With this system LEZZENI has today a
considerable market share in the world, which demonstrates the success of this system.
Another great success is represented by the introduction of the first combined
Fancy-Twisting-System, combining the hollowspindle system with the ringspindle
system.
With this system it was for the first time possible to produce a fancy twist in one
working process with different twist in the fancy forming and binding operation.
On top of this, LEZZENI introduced then the first fully computerized
Fancy-Twisting-System, followed by the first 2 and 3 colours system.
This continuous technological development allowed LEZZENI to gain more and more
market shares, represented by the fact, that today more than 80% of the turnover is
exported to all parts of the world. |
