Ommi Spa is the first italian manufacturer, and one of the leading company, in designing, production and commissioning of blending and opening plants, for any kind of textile production.

         The company has been established in 1963 and the beginning was as many other textile machinery manufacturers did in Prato area: four hard-working higly skilled mechanics, with the nerve to take risks, and the ability to study and develop innovative products. 

           Starting from a small company producing blending plants for the local textile industry, "the woolen spinning", OMMI Spa is now composed of 4 modern workshops located in the Prato area, for a total of 65 people, that operates all over the world, exporting almost 70% of its turnover.

Every Ommi plant is a "unique job", designed and manufactured according Customer's requirements.

From the initial technical and commercial discussions between the Customer and our agents, presents almost all over the world and supported by our sales engineers, the project is designed with CAD systems by our high skilled technicians, with over than 20 years experience in the field; the production is done in 4 modern workshops while the commissioning is performed by a team of over than 10 very expert erectors.

         After the commissioning of the plant, our after sales services guarantees, all over the world, a quick and reliable technical service and spare parts supply.

          The experience got  in the supply and commissioning of almost 1.000 plants all over the world, in more than 35 years of operation of the company, and the big investments in the applied research, have pushed OMMI to develop, with the very close cooperation with the textile industry, and not only local, innovative machines and plants, so that we have diversified and expanded our production, to satisfy more customer requirements and needs.
