STAHEL e JAEGGLI laid the foundation of a cotton twisting mill in Winthertur(CH)for the processing of mercerized sewing threads.

1920

The mechanics shop of this twisting mill starts the production of machinery for mercerizing cotton yarns.

1969

Closing of the twisting plant with development of the activity of planning and construction of the mercerizing machines further to the supplyin of complete plants for the yarn mercerising in hanks.

1985

Agreement and merging with the MECCANOTESSILE-Como(Italy)

The new mercerising machine mod.AS40/7 with automatic loading system is launched on the market with great success.

1995

The continuos yarn mercerizing line mod.MC-2000 combined to the rewinding machines from beam to cones mod.RS-2000 is shown to the market and it is realized the first new productive plant.

1998

The new hank mercerizing mod.HL-2000 is now available with computerized electronic control by PC + PLC and at the same time is launched the new automatic hanks loading system mod.ALS-2000.

1999

Agreement among the JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE Srl and the REGGIANI MACCHINE Spa di Bergamo(Italy),world leader for the fabrics printing machines,only for the construction of the mercerizing machines;the planning,the technological development,the marketing,the commercialization and the post-sale technical assistance are completely hold by JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE Srl.

2002

JAEGGLI-MECCANOTESSILE Srl inaugurates the new continous yarns mercerising machine mod.MC-2000 with applied all those technological innovations studied and accomplished on the base of the previous productive experiences.This machine is destined to upset definitively the way of mercerizing ,placing itself alongside the hanks discontinuos system,at present predominant all over the world.
